Blue Square Premier side AFC Telford United are expected to be close to clinching the signing of former Mansfield Town player Mark Preece. Preece spent a short spell on loan at Telford during the last campaign and it is known that manager Andy Sinton is an admirer of the strong central defender.It is thought that a deal could be concluded by the end of this week.
