Graeme Lee a Target for the Imps?

Notts County have confirmed that central defender Graeme Lee is not being offered a new contract at Meadow Lane.

It is thought that Lincoln City will revive interest in the player after coming close to signing him last January before injury problems for Notts County caused the deal to be called off.

Lincoln will face fierce competition for his signature with Mansfield Town and Darlington thought to be interested, Lee is likely to prefer to stay in the football league and it will be up to Lincoln boss Steve Tilson to persuade him to drop two divisions to join the Blue Square Premier outfit.

  2. If he drops to non league he'll go to Darlington not Lincoln City. That is of course, if Darlington still want him.

  3. Thank you for your comments, with his previous links to the north east I can see why that could be possible, however a lot of his recent links are Yorkshire and Nottinghamshire so I'd say you are still in with a good shout. He would certainly be an asset for any team in this division, I think it hinges on whether he gets any good offers from league clubs.

If he doesn't then I suspect it's a race between Lincoln and Darlington, with Mansfield off the pace until they appoint a manager.
